My mind is chattering away

Now that I've gotten back into productive, academic mode, my brain has just been going non-stop. I suppose this is why I'm well-suited to be a professional student more or less for the next 5+ years. I met with my supervisor this morning, as we do once a week to chat about my project. These chats get me so excited about my research, what I've found so far, what I'm going to do next, what I hope to find out, as well as the people I will get to talk to and what we will discuss.

From this chat with my supervisor, yet another reason (as if there weren't enough already...) came up why I should have found a way to stay in touch with that guy I met on the bus from New York to Boston during my visa crisis. Turns out he would have been very helpful with my research, what irony...oh Matt from San Francisco.

And to close, my weather notes...It may be spitty rain today, but I still find it strangely beautiful. As I was walking to the office this morning, I couldn't help but think about how the gray sky provided an illuminating contrast with the changing autumn leaves and brown-gray stone buildings. Magical and magnificent.

Oh yeah, and Hugh Grant, Samuel L. Jackson, Andy Garcia, and Matthew Goode are in town for the weekend to play in the annual Dunhill golf tournament.
